A Word From the Polemarch

Welcome to the website of the Silver Spring (MD) Alumni Chapter (SSA) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Since October 28, 1972, SSA has maintained a strong presence in Montgomery County, Maryland through various community service programs and social activities. As the 25th Polemarch (President), I am proud to lead the effort in continuing the work we do in Montgomery County, the State of Maryland, the Greater Washington Region, and the Eastern Province of the Fraternity. We pride ourselves in our involvement with local schools, churches and civic organizations that share our commitment to encourage youth to realize their full potential and promote healthy and thriving communities.

Given our geographic location within the Washington Region and our lengthy history of impactful service to the community, the Silver Spring Alumni Chapter is known to be at the “Top of The Diamond”!

I encourage you to explore our on-line home to learn more about this Chapter, our activities and the impact we have on Montgomery County, Maryland and beyond.
